A Vertical of Bouchaine Estate Pinot Noir, Napa Valley-Carneros  Very limited offering of three bottles of our Estate Pinot Noir

Cabernet knocks your socks off, Bouchaine Estate Pinot Noir slips your stockings down.

We are delighted to offer three vintages of our Estate Pinot as a vertical: the 2004, 2005, and 2006 vintages. All three wines share a common thread in their Pinot Noir heritage:

Grown in Carneros vineyards that benefit from a balance of ample sunshine along with marine influence of nearby San Pablo Bay; Vines are planted in clay loam and cobbly soils perfect for growing Pinot vines; and Pinot fruit that yield depth of luscious dark berry and cherry flavors edged by Pinot earth and smokiness. In the cellar, we used French oak barrels of varying toasts to hints warm spices on the palate and roundness in the texture.

Each of these three vintages, however, have evolved their own personalities based on a myriad of factors—including the amount of seasonal rain received in the vineyard, the choice of barrel maker in France,  and the percentage of new oak versus older oak.
