2010 Bouchaine Estate Chardonnay, Napa Valley-Carneros   The chilly 2010 vintage produced a beautiful, pale golden wine. Crisp green apple, limoncello, and pear fruit notes form the central fruit core. These are followed by a touch of vanilla, ginger and butterscotch - a perfect marriage of bright acidity with rich flavor. The hallmark Bouchaine sueded texture persists in a longlasting finish.   $30.00

2010 Bouche D'Or Bouchaine Dessert Wine   Bouche d’Or, or “Mouth of Gold” refers to the amber color and luscious, sweet essence of this wine. You may know that the characteristic honey-apricot fragrance, found in many late harvest wines, come from what’s known as the “noble rot,” or botrytis cinerea, which occurs naturally on grape clusters. 2007 Estate Pinot Noir Magnum   The Bouchaine 2007 Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir was blended from a selection of the most dramatic estate lots to yield the most expressive wine possible. These are among the southernmost plantings in the Napa Valley and encompass the highest landmark terraces in the Carneros district. The vineyard reaps the full benefit of the region’s defining marine influence, which, along with limited irrigation, serves to reduce crop yield, retain bright fruit acidity, and assure early ripening — producing the most well behaved and richly flavored wines. The 2007 vintage was marked by fears of drought conditions early in the season, but prudent watering from our partially-filled ponds allowed for full fruit development, while limiting crop yields. The wine is produced from a blend of Dijon (115, 667, and 777), Pommard, and Swan clones.   $100.00
