 Bouchaine's Rockin' H Rodeo Roundup BBQ

Howdy Y’all

It’s time to dust off your rodeo gear and pull up your britches for Bouchaine’s Rockin’ H Rodeo Roundup BBQ on Sunday, August 8, 2010.  We plan to make hay while the sun shines!

Come on down and stomp it out to live music and fun games for all; the range boss will be taking y’all on hay rides and the wrangler will be giving ropin’ demos that will fiddle your fancy. Maverick’s will be bringing the chuck wagon and barbequing up a mighty fine feast of smoked chicken, smoked brisket, and some good ol’ pulled pork.

Club Members will need to pony up $40 a head and will be able to get one other buckaroo in at that same price; All non-members will have to fork over $50 a head.   

This hoedown starts at 1:00PM and will be at the Rockin’ H Ranch in the town of Petaluma: 6614 Lakeville Road, Petaluma CA.

Now don’t squat with yer spurs on when you hear about the one time Shotgun Sale (only available at the event)!  $50 for a six pack of Gewurztraminer ($8.53/bottle); $70 for a six pack of Rosé of Syrah ($11.53/bottle); or a three year flight of Pinot Noir (’05, ’06, ’07) for $70.  Y’all be all over it like a chicken on a June bug!

Please join us for the fifth annual Festival del Sole, a Napa Valley classical music extravaganza that runs from July 16-25, 2010. 

Gerret and Tatiana Copeland, the owners of Bouchaine Vineyards, have always had a love of classical music, good food, and fine wine. When the opportunity to become Founding Benefactors presented itself, they were excited to participate. Thanks in large part to the Copeland’s support and encouragement, the Festival, in four short years, has become one of the leading classical musical events in the world.

Tatiana and Gerret Copeland have been long time supporters of the arts. Tatiana Copeland serves on the Board of the Grand Opera House in Wilmington, Delaware, and the Delaware Symphony Orchestra.  The Copeland’s dedication to music and the arts has been truly remarkable. Their support has allowed the Delaware Symphony Orchestra, accompanied by the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, to create the well-received album, Interchange.  Furthermore, the Copelands, through their generous underwriting, have made it possible for the Russian National Orchestra to be in residence at the Festival del Sole for the next four years. “What an honor to have the RNO, recognized as among the world’s top orchestras, once again in residence; my husband and I are so pleased to be part of making this possible.” ­­­– Tatiana Copeland

The Copelands strongly believe in fostering young, emerging artists, and have provided young talent the opportunity to perform in an inspiring environment in order to enhance their performance skills. Thanks to the Copelands, admission to the Festival del Sole’s Young Artist Series is free! The Series features the following three, extremely talented young artists:

July 19th at the River Bend Performance Plaza: Tessa Seymour, Cello

July 21st at the Jarvis Conservatory: Alexi Kenney, Violin

July 24th at tha Jarvis Conservatory: Natasha Paremski, Piano

We are delighted to have been awarded GOLD MEDALS for both our 2007 Estate Chardonnay AND our 2007 Carneros Pinot at the 2010 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition! This marks two vintages in a row that the Carneros Pinot has won Gold at this competition.
