The 2009 Copeland Estate Pinot Noir celebrates the culmination of 30 years of commitment to excellence and the pursuit of Carneros style and homage to Burgundian elegance by Gerret and Tatiana Copeland, proprietors of Bouchaine Vineyards. Only two barrels were produced, selected from an unusually fine and well-balanced vintage. A striking and vivid Pinot Noir layered with intense, bright cherries, berries, and a lingering finish with a plush texture. All in all, the wine is a reflection of a vintage that is more refined grace than super-ripe opulence and presages the potential for long bottle age for the collector. This wine comes in a beautiful antique redwood box.
