Meet Food’s Best New BFF:
2015 Vin Gris of Pinot Noir
Here’s the single best reminder that all rosés are not created equal. Made purposefully from our estate Pinot Noir grapes, this wine is a union of lightly pressed whole-clusters and juice that has been bled after longer skin contact (a traditional practice known as “saignée”). Bright wild red berry flavors mingle with tropical, mineral-driven notes of guava, lychee and watermelon. It’s vibrant and luscious at once, making it the perfect foil for all types of food, both serious (think lobster, seared salmon or delicately cooked lamb) and frivolous (think nachos, truffle-salted popcorn or egg rolls).
Only 350 cases produced. April Release. Available exclusively at the winery. Pre-Order Now.
COME FOR A TASTING
To taste this 2015 Vin Gris of Pinot Noir at home is a good thing; but to enjoy a full flight of Bouchaine wines, in the place where they are made can be extra-ordinary. Bouchaine is the oldest continuously operating winery in Napa Valley’s Carneros District. Our philosophy: produce wines that embody the excellence of Burgundy, the exuberance of California and the terrior of Carneros. Come visit us.
OUR ROSÉ GURU
Bouchaine’s Winemaker Chris Kajani has been making Vin Gris of Pinot Noir in Carneros for 10 years now, so she knows a thing or two about how to preserve the tension between fruit, savory, acid and mineral notes. Her rosés sell out every summer and we anticipate this year’s limited release will do the same.
WINE, EDUCATION & FLAVOR! EVENTS
