2015 Vin Gris of Pinot Noir

Here’s the single best reminder that all rosés are not created equal. Made purposefully from our estate Pinot Noir grapes, this wine is a union of lightly pressed whole-clusters and juice that has been bled after longer skin contact (a traditional practice known as “saignée”). Bright wild red berry flavors mingle with tropical, mineral-driven notes of guava, lychee and watermelon. It’s vibrant and luscious at once, making it the perfect foil for all types of food, both serious (think lobster, seared salmon or delicately cooked lamb) and frivolous (think nachos, truffle-salted popcorn or egg rolls).
